How Premier Tax & Resolution Began

I’ve always believed that taxes shouldn’t create stress. They should bring clarity and confidence. My name is Grant Silva, and I’m the founder of Premier Tax & Resolution LLC, a licensed tax firm based in Vancouver, Washington serving clients throughout Oregon and Washington.

I grew up right here in Vancouver and have lived my entire life in the Pacific Northwest. This community means a lot to me, and helping local families and small businesses with something as important as their taxes feels like the best way to give back.

My Background

I’m an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) and an Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant (LTC), which allows me to represent taxpayers before the IRS and provide professional tax preparation and consulting at the state level.

Before starting Premier Tax & Resolution, I spent years helping clients with all types of filings. These included individual returns, business taxes, and complex IRS and state resolution cases. Over time, I noticed that people often struggled to find a professional who could handle both the technical side of tax law and the human side of good communication.

I built this firm to solve that problem by combining licensed expertise, secure technology, and a personal approach that focuses on trust and transparency.

Why I Started Premier Tax & Resolution

I wanted to create a modern tax practice where clients could feel confident that their information is safe, their returns are done right, and their concerns are taken seriously.

Every return is prepared with the same care I would expect for my own family. Every client conversation is rooted in honesty, accuracy, and respect. I believe that good tax service means more than filing a return; it means helping people understand their financial situation and make informed decisions for the future.

My goal is to build lasting relationships through clarity, communication, and quality work.

My Approach to Tax Service

I view tax preparation and planning as a year-round process, not just a once-a-year task. Whether I’m helping an individual file a 1040 or representing a business in front of the IRS, I focus on accuracy, proactive planning, and full compliance.

I strictly follow IRS Circular 230 and IRC §7216, which set the professional and confidentiality standards for licensed practitioners. Clients trust that their information is protected and their returns are handled with the highest level of care.

Outside the Office

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife Kaela and I have two amazing sons, Garrison and Maxwell, and two dogs, Desta and Kody.

I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life, and I love the outdoors, the community, and the creative energy here. Music is also a big part of my life. I play piano and guitar, and I sing whenever I can. It’s how I relax and stay inspired.
